The thing about sports is, it’s more of a religion sometimes than a game. Some devote their lives to a sport or team. Some people name their kids after a player on the team. Some name them the team name! But my point is that sports are an up and down graph. First, its fun and exciting and new. Then after a few decades it becomes more than that. It becomes a thrill. A rollercoaster ride where you don’t even leave your place. Then it begins to decline. Unfortunately we are now in the decline of the era of baseball. It’s been around for so long, lots of history, but people don’t care anymore. Basketball got its heyday in the 80s and 90s. Magic, Bird, MJ, etc. Basketball is now heading towards it decline, in about 5 or 10 years. By then I wouldnt be surprised is baseball no longer exists. The entire league might be axed. But the midwest will probably come to its rescue and maybe start up a league thats strictly midwest. Footbal is getting its heyday right now. Although more often in the 90s and early 00s. It will still be popular by the time 2020 rolls around. But by then, Nascar will be the nationally televised sport in my opinion, as well as UFC. That’s going to be the new football; barbaric, yet sickly fun.
